Blast fromthe Past

This is a really random picture, but I wanted to post it because it's a fun picture. My family went to visit my brother Mike in the MTC and this is a picture from that visit. (pretty sure that was an illegal visit) We took his girlfriend Nicole (who is now his wife) with us. I used to tag along with these two before and after his Mission and loved it. Nicole lived down the street so she would always play with me, take me places and do my hair. I remember when they got married I was really sad and I remember crying at their reception, I thought we wouldn't be friends anymore. Funny.

Randomness of February

I love flowers and always have to take pictures of them, so here are my cheesy pictures. Thanks for the pretty flowers Brock and Mom & Dad, you're the best.

Remember all those rocks Brock and I spent our summer getting ride of? Well....THEY'RE BACK! We are getting new neighbors behind us and their rock piles are now piled in our yard. I feel really upset about it. I guess we'll just have to wait for them to move their dirt and get rid of rocks again. ERRRRR! Notice, all our snow is gone. We had a really warm week last week that melted all of our snow and got me itching for spring. However, we had a good snow storm yesterday and we have our snow back. Nothing compared to the Utah snow levels though. hahahah.

Party Week

Valentine's was fun at the Belnap household this year. I spent the day making 1,000 sugar cookies for me and Brock to eat and putting together a picknic. We had a little picknic in our jeep in the parking lot of the movie theatre (I know, how romantic) and then went and saw "Fools Gold". It was alright, but my taste was soured for it because there a was a flash of nudity. A PG-13? I was really upset! That was about it, I am glad I have Brock who I am deeply in love with!

Our Stake had a big party last weekend at the Church and I was on the food commitee. It was our job to feed 500 crazy LDS people.

The theme for the party was a Hawaiian Luau, so you can imagine how pretty everything looked. The food looked really pretty all set out and tasted really good too.

I must admit my part of the task was not too difficult and I think Tiffany (the chief of the food commitee) had the roughest part of the deal. She worked her little self to the core and did most of the work, she did awesome. It really turned out great!

Brock and I enjoyed hanging out at the party and socializing, oh... and of course we got to take home some yummy left over fruit . SCORE!

Here's the food commitee for the party: Sis. May, Kirsten, Tiffany and Kim. We did have fun...I think...at least I did! I did steal these pics from you Tiffany, you can kick me if you are mad about it.

That was a big part of our crazy weekend but we had really fun visitors to end the weekend. My Best Friend Allyson came to visit and brought her man, Lance. We had a really great time with them. We went out snowboarding and just chilled the rest of the time. I will have to get some of those pics on on my blog soon. We had lot's of fun, thanks for coming Ally!

Weekend Craziness

Well, this weekend was a whirlwind that quickly passed. I had a Lia Sophia meeting in Billings on saturday, so we decided to make a trip to the Temple while we were there. Well, late friday night we realized that the Temple times were really spread out and the last session ended at 2:00pm, and I wouldn't be done with my meeting until 4:00pm. So, our only option was to try to make the first session so I could make it to my meeting and the Temple. We got in bed around 11:00pm, due to poor planning, and had to wake up at 4:00am. We were on the road by 4:30 and barely made it to our 7:00am session. It was nice though, I am really glad we made it.

While I was in my meeting, Brock spent the day window shopping for Trucks, Guns and Puppies. My meeting was really fun and motivating for my new business, my mind is full of all sorts of ideas for my Jewelry Parties!!!

After my meeting we ate at Red Robin and we both enjoyed hamburgers the size of my head, yum. The drive home was hard because we were both so tired, but we made it!

Sunday was good, we slept in because Sacrement isn't until 1:00 these days so it helped us catch up on rest. We enjoyed a yummy dinner and went to some friends for dessert, yum!

That's all with us!

President Hinckley

Our Prophet President Hinckley passed away early this week in his home in Salt Lake. He will be greatly missed by all of the members of the LDS Church around the world. Although I'm sad to see him go, I am excited for him to be reunited with his wife and other loved ones.
President Hinckley has strongly impacted my life as well as Brock's. He was the pure example of Christ like love and charity. I am grateful for the many things he taught me and his service to the Lord's church.

Snowboarding

Brock and I hit the slopes on Saturday for some snowboarding fun. We went to Bridger Bowl; it's about 16 miles out of Bozeman and it's super pretty.
We have decided since we are so close to many Ski Resorts here in Bozeman, we better live it up! So, last week I bought my own boots so I don't have to rent any more when we go. We are going to get me my own board too but I think we'll wait to see if they'll go on sale at the end of the season.
I must confess, I am still a beginner and spent most of the day fumbling down the mountain but I think there's improvement! Brock's a really great teacher and is full of patience when I make errors so that helps.( he's also quick to tease me for them too). He was teaching my "Toe-Side" turns on Saturday, we'll see if I can make it happen next time.
We have plans to hit the Mountain up again on Friday for some more fun! I hope my body has the strength and energy I need to pick myself up all day!!!

Keep on Keepin' On

Okay, so I had to put a fun Valentines background on...I couldn't resist any longer! I think it's way cute and fun!

Also, today is my niece Kaitlyn's birthday! So happy, happy birthday my sweet little niece, I love you lots and wish we were there to help you celebrate. We hope you have a happy day and have fun raking in the goods from a birthday party.

Burrr......

I had to make note of how cold it is today because I think it's the coldest weather I've been in for a really long time. Last week it snowed a couple days and now the cold has really set in. We didn't keep up on shoveling the snow and now I am really dreading it because it's so cold. Yesterday when we got home from Church our garage had a hard time closing and this morning we have frost on the inside of our windows and a little on the inside of our front door. The good news is that it is going to warm up...to a whopping -5*F! Yes, I'll be able to put on my shorts when I go out!
Temp: -16°F (-27°C)

Humidity: 74%

Winter Time

I really don't have much to report these days, life has slowed down a little for us in the Belnap household. The only news I have to report is that Brock and I are going to buy me my own snowboard and boots so I don't have to rent anymore when we go. We plan to get some good use out of the beautiful mountains here. I am so excited.

Winter Past: Cedar City

My cute brother Jonny and his sweet wife Heather just announced that they are expecting their first baby! I am so excited I can barely stand it, I am pretty sure they are excited too. I've already decided on some good names for their baby: Brock if it's a boy or Kimberly if it's a girl. I am almost positive that they'll use my suggestions because I Am Their Favorite Person. Well, Congrats you two crazy kids! Love you!

Happy New Year 2008

Holy Smoko', I can't believe another year has passed. I remember my mom always telling me when I was little that "time flies when you get old". I never could believe that as a child when every second seemed so long at times. Time really does fly!

This last year has been a whirlwind for us. This time last year we were just settling into our new house, jobs and ward. Here we are, again, just settling into our new home, jobs and ward in a new state. EEEKKK! You never know what the Lord has in store for your life and the paths he will direct you in. Brock and I have both felt the Lord's hand in our lives with all of our new adjustments. We are grateful for paths we've been on and are now on and we continue to put our trust and faith in the Lord to continue to direct us.

Our New Years Celebration was really fun and relaxing. We had some friends from our ward over for dinner, games and to ring in the New Year. We had a lot of fun and laughs. New Years Day we slept in, went shopping and saw National Treasure 2. We are excited for 2008 and all of the new adventures ahead!

Time really does go by so quickly! It's been 2 years now since Brock finished school. He finished December of 2005 and immediately began working for Wells Fargo in St. George. I can't believe how much our lives have changed since then, it's crazy.

We are certainly glad that we are done with school!

HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!

We spent Christmas this year with Brock's family in Mayfield. We had a lot of fun spending time with the family and catching up on what's new with everyone. Our group was smaller than usual because Shilo and Trevor couldn't make it this year, we really missed you guys. We had a great time and of course it came and went too fast!
