Lately....

Life has been pretty ordinary lately and quite boring. I feel like a picked on kid who has to do chores all day and never gets to play! Last week was especially rough due to MEGA spring cleaning, shampooing carpets, D-junking and preparing to host my best pal's Baby Shower. The shower planning was fun and somewhat easy but the cleaning was not my favorite.
The house feels nice and clean....for now! This week I have decided that I'm NOT doing ANY chores besides the everyday dishes, pickup and one load of laundry. I plan on filling my week with easy tasks and fun things that I enjoy-I'm on vacation:)

While I worked away and got rather sweaty, Boog and Brutus enjoyed the lovely sunshine and warm weather.

 Pregnancy Update
I'm feeling pretty good for the most part but I am feeling really tired again. Cleaning was rough because I get winded and need to take breaks- I think that's why my cleaning projects took so long. The baby is still really active throughout the entire day, she especially loves to wiggle at bed time. She responds to Brock's voice and loves to hear her Dad talking crazy to her.
My arms are still going numb at night, which is totally annoying! Yesterday during church my arm went numb and a few minutes later my entire right arm and right hand swelled up. Brock and I were tripping so we left sacrament to deal with the issue. The swelling went down after a few minutes of walking and moving around. I spoke with my Doc today and she said it is a normal pregnancy symptom due to extra pressure on everything, so basically I just have to deal with it:)

Halsey's Baby Shower

 Me and Halz
I'm not a huge fan of this picture since I look so HUGE, especially next to Halsey. She's due any day and I'm still several months out! I thought it was a fun picture to have with both of us prego though.

Today...
The weather has been absolutely lovely lately and we decided to take advantage of it tonight for FHE. We grabbed some grub, wood and the dogs and went to the river. We had dinner, went on a walk and just enjoyed being out in the warm springtime weather! Yay for spring!!!

For Sale....
In other news, we listed our camp trailer for sale a couple weekends ago! I hate to see it sale because it is sooo nice and exactly what we want but Brock says it must go. (he hopes to buy a newer one once this one sales). We had some interest on it but nothing serious. One guy wanted to trade us for his 1980 Corvette that doesn't run....some people! It's been a nice camper to look at and clean but we've never actually even camped in it:) Wish us Luck!

Update, Update

Our anniversary plans didn't quite work out due to CRAPPY snowy weather. Which we should have expected because it snowed on our Wedding and every anniversary since. (even when we lived and So. Utah and we'd head to Bryce canyon in hopes of good weather). I guess it's our tradition to be celebrating in coats, gloves and scarves.
So we didn't go camping when the weekend came but we did take a drive to a place I've never been, Bear Trap Canyon. It was so pretty even though it was covered in white cold stuff. We were going to picnic but it was so windy and cold we decided to eat at the Sportsman's Lodge in Ennis. The food was delish:)
We did however make reservations for Montana Ale Works and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at one of our favorite places on our actual anniversary.

 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In baby news, I'm growing and she's growing. I saw my doc on Friday and everything still looks great. The baby is currently in the 30th percentile...what ever that means...and she is ahead of the curve for activity. Brock and I googled "active babies In Utero" and according to the "internet", we are going to have a busy little gal. I'm not too surprised though, Brock and I both are pretty intense folks so it is natural that our spawn would be too.
Since I saw a specialist for our ultrasound my doc hadn't seen my ultrasound so we went over it together. She said all the measurements and proportions look great and healthy. The placenta and amniotic fluid looks good too, but they want to do a 32 week ultrasound to double check things as we get closer to delivery.
We've recently been able to see my belly move when the baby kicks. I can even see it through my clothes sometimes. I was pretty self-entertained during sacrament meeting last week watching my baby & belly move. She really gets moving at the sound of Brock's voice. He gets down close and starts talking to her and she goes buck wild. They both think its funny when she's kicking my bladder, me not so much.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny stopped by our place and brought us A LOT of candy...I mean A LOT! I'm thinking the bunny was hungry and craving chocolate when he went shopping for us:)

I was feeling really bummed that Boog tore  open a new bag of Cadburry Mini Eggs licked them all. I'm feeling better about it because the E.Bunny brought up plenty of chocolate after all.

Nine Smokin' Years Together!

The craziest thing is happening today....Brock and I are celebrating our 9th Wedding Anniversary! Its crazy how a year flies by but its even more crazy how 9 YEARS fly by!
I love when our anniversary comes around because I really enjoy reflecting on our wedding day and all the days since. It is interesting to think about how much is the same and how much is sooo different.
I'm really grateful to have married someone who I respect, love and have loads of fun with. Brock makes me laugh like crazy on a daily basis ( milk coming out of your nose type hilariousness). I think he his the smartest, kindest, most hardworking person I have ever known. Oh did I mention I think he's super HOT too? Yeah, he's pretty much a big deal! I'm still not quite sure how I lucked out to get such a catch? Oh well, the joke is on him!
Since we have our little miss on the way and we are saving funds for her arrival, we have decided to keep our anniversary celebrations low key this year. We are going to have Dinner at Montana Ale Works tonight, tomorrow we are going to go get massages (instead of gifts) and this weekend we are taking our new(ish) trailer out to the Maddison to camp! However, for our 10 year next year we are bringing out all the "bells & whistles" for our anniversary. We are planning on a tropical cruise with some of our best pals who were all married the same year as us. It's going to be amazing! So....today I'm starting my "cruise 2013" savings and in the fall I'll start working on my beach bod! (Mikelle, if you're reading this you better remind Adam about the cruise:)
Happy Anniversary Love!
Then & Now...
