Ally & Lance

I am to happy to report yet another fabulous weekend with friends! My BEST FRIEND Allyson came to visit us for the weekend. She brought along with her some random boy named Lance. Just kidding, he's her boyfriend and we finally got to meet him. We had so much fun having them around, they were such a delight! Ally and I haven't hung out that much since before I was married, so needless to say it was an overdue "hang out".
The weekend was full of fun and laughs. We went to a movie, shopping, out to eat, enjoyed a short bike ride and a snowy hike. Yes, snowy. We went up our favorite canyon for a hike and to our surprise there was snow on the ground. We hiked to Grotto Falls up Haylite Canyon. It was so pretty with the fresh fallen snow.
Sunday came way too fast and I was sad to see my visitors go...as usual. Ally and Lance made it home safe even with the detour that they took! They may be back in February for some Montana Snow Boarding, I can't wait to see them again!

Snowy Haylite Lake
I finally talked Brock into playing Mexican Train with us, which we regretted when he beat us all sorely.

House Warming Gift

When my parents came to visit, they brought us this clock as a House Warming gift. My mom made it just for us and we love it. It matches our house perfectly and has our last name and the year we were married on it. Many people have been quite impressed with our new clock and so am I. I love it, thanks again mom.

Fall Colors

I love autumn in Bozeman! Brock took me for a Sunday drive to enjoy the beauty of the changing leaves. The mountains are covered in gorgeous pine trees with the bright yellow and red leaves in between. I love it! Here are a few of the shots I got-ENJOY!

Fishing and Camping with The Bennett's

My brother Mike and his wife Nicole brought their family for a little vacation to Montana. We camped in West Yellowstone for the weekend in their new motorhome. We spent a lot of time fishing on the nearby rivers and spent a day in Yellowstone. We had a great time with the family and were so glad they came to visit. Thanks again for coming to see us!Naters was a little confused with staying in "West Yellowstone", he kept asking when we were going into the "Real Yellowstone". I thought it was so cute that he called it that, he is such a blast to be around!
There's a moose on the loose!

We enjoyed Fishing on the Gallatin and
Madison Rivers in Montana. Mike caught
the biggest fish on the trip. Congrats Mike
on your BIG CATCH!

Naters enjoyed fishing for a few minutes until he decided that there were no fish in the river.

Our Trip into the "Real Yellowstone"

Saturday we went into the "Real Yellowstone" to hit the major sites. We had fun cruising through the park in Mike and Nicole's new Allegro Bus! We saw a lot of animals while we were cruising and were able to get some really great pictures. We all really enjoyed our day.
ELK CROSSING

This big Bull was out grazing by the road and didn't seem to mind everyone watching him.

Elk were all over Yellowstone while we visited. Nate was really excited to see some of the animal life of the "Real Yellowstone". This Bull Elk had his heard down in this valley. We got to watch him call them in and round them up. It was really neat to watch!

Visitors From Utah

We had the pleasure of having family visit us from Utah. Mom, Dad, my brother Jon and his new wife Heather joined us for a weekend of fun. We were able to go up the mountain, shop, look at RV's, eat out, play games and visit the bear park. It was a short visit but filled with fun! Thanks for coming to spend a weekend with us here in Montana! We visited the Grizzly Bear Park in Livingston on saturday. We were deffinately "Up Close and Personal" with these bears. It's fun to watch them as long as they're on one side of the wall and I'm on the other! In this picture you can see Brutus stretching in the back on a rock.
Mom's favorite was Sheena one of the twins, she thought she was so sweet.

Sheena eating some treats they threw her.
Brutus trying to reach a treat that landed in the pond. The bubbles he was blowing in the pond were huge!
Brutus posing for a picture. Normally this sight would have me peeing my pants, but he was safely on the other side of the wall.

HAYLITE LAKE

We went up to Haylite Lake for dinner on friday night. It was great to get out into the fresh air and to enjoy the lake and the mountains. We had a really great time and a lot of laughs.
Jon and Heather had a fun time skipping rocks on the lake after dinner.

Mom was freezing, I think the cool air made her a little silly-she had us all cracking up.
