Have You Ever....

Have You Ever.....
Had someone do something nice for you, for no reason at all?
When our friends Conor & Etosha came over to help us dig fence holes, Etosha randomly brought me these pretty flowers. Who does that? They came over to labor in our dusty& hot yard and she brings me a gift? I was in shock at her super nice gesture and really grateful for their friendship.
When people do things like this for me, it makes me want to be that kind of person for other people. I'm so thankful I've been surrounded by a lot of really great people throughout my life!

Have You Ever.....
Had a horrible haircut where you have to pay double or triple the original price to get it fixed?
It's so hard to move to a new place and not have a stylist or a specific place that you trust to cut your hair. I've been bouncing around to find the right person and along the way I got really screwed!
I've been trying to grow my hair out and have been TRIMMING it ever 5-6 weeks to keep it healthy. Well, I went into get my "TRIM" and left with short chunky layers on the top of my head and a long skinny rat tail in the back. To top it all off the guy had the nerve to say "see I left your length". Are you kidding me? I should have known at the beginning when he didn't even wet down my hair after I specifically told him I have naturally curly hair, what a loser.
I had to sport my new Manson Family Mullet for over a week while I waited to get into the salon I wanted to fix it. Yes, I ended up chopping my hair really short and spending double the original price to fix it.

You know it's bad when your husband tells you that your new look makes you look like white trash.

Our Weekend In Idaho

Belnap Family Reunion
Brock and I spent this last weekend in Idaho with the Belnap side at the yearly reunion. We had a good time hanging out with the extended family. Brock was able to see Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that he hasn't seen in years and enjoyed catching up on life. I had fun meeting some more of the Belnap clan and I hear I haven't even scratched the surface. (Brock has something like 50+ cousins on the Belnap side...nuts) We enjoyed ourselves and are so glad that we made it to the party!!!!

We stopped on our way home and took pictures of the new Rexburg Temple in Idaho.

4th of July Celebrations

We had a very fun and random 4th of July weekend! We left Thursday night after Brock got off work and headed to Cliff & Wade Lakes, which is about 1 hour from our home. We got there at 10:00pm and all three campgrounds were packed with random humans. We had no choice but to find somewhere else to camp for the weekend.
Quake lake was just down the road about 15 miles so we headed there to set up camp in the dark. We had no idea of what our campground or surroundings looked like and were pleasantly surprised to wake up to beautiful mountains.
Our campground was right next to the lake so we decided to go fish for a couple hours. The walk to the lake was beautiful and the lake was pretty in an Eerie way. Quake lake was created by and earthquake in 1959, so the trees sticking out of the lake from where the forest used to be is kinda creepy. We caught no fish our first day.

Earthquake Lake

This is the landslide from the earthquake, which created the natural dam for the river making Quake Lake. Pretty crazy!

Fishing Quake
More fishing=lots of fish!

We went out the 2nd day and fished and caught a bunch. They were pretty fat rainbows and of course I caught the biggest but Brock caught more.

We caught 11 total fish, that's hot fishing for us.
No, I don't like to touch the fish.

Hebgen Lake

Quake Lake is right next to Hebgen Lake, so the afternoon of the 4th we went and hung out on the beach for the day. It was really warm so the cool water was refreshing but too cold to get all the way in so we put our chairs in the lake and chilled.

Madison River Bike Ride

After our Hebgen Lake trip we went for a long bike ride to the Madison river where we fished and roasted hot dogs. I was nervous about bears the whole time and couldn't really relax.

West Yellowstone

After our bike ride we went into west to wander through the shops, to get some ice cream and picked out our spot to watch fireworks. They put on a really good firework show, I think we are going to make it a yearly spot for us to watch fireworks! Yes....I bought us these really cheesy 4th of July Old Navy Tee's. It was funny though, we liked it a lot.

Wade Lake

Even though we didn't get to camp at Wade Lake we decide to go and play there for the day anyway. Well, when we got there all the canoes were rented and it was rainy. So we just hung out on the beach during the rain breaks. Pretty scenery but kind of a lame experience, we'll try again soon.

I was trying to get a picture of us and Brock was still mad about a spat we had and this is how our picture turned out. Men are so emotional....hahaha. I thought this was funny and I had to post it.

Our whole weekend was really random and un-planned, that's how we like it. "Flying by the seat of our pants" as my mom always puts it! Hey, it's an advantage of not having kids.

Belnap Family Reunion

Family Fun
We had our Belnap Family Reunion this year at the Diamond Fork Campground up Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah. So yes, another trip to Utah, we can't get enough!!! It was so great to see family that we haven't seen since Christmas and to relax together. Everyone was able to come except for Lacey, who had just had a new baby, it will be a whole year before we see her again....depressing. I couldn't believe how big our nephews and nieces are getting, it kinda makes me sad to see them grow up.

We had a really nice time camping, eating and hanging out with the family. We wished we could have stayed longer but it's always good to come home too.

After the reunion we stayed at my mom & dad's for a night and my mom made Brock a yummy birthday dinner. We also saw my whole side of the family because they all came to mom and dad's for Father's Day, bonus!

We are looking forward to some more camping trips here in Montana for the summer!

Kim and Kadence

KK was my little shadow at the reunion. I absolutely ate it up, she is such a doll. She would just come and hang out and play with us in our tent and helped us clean up our stuff when we were packing to leave. (We had beef jerky in our tent and I think that's really why she kept coming back).

It was so cute to watch him paint their nails and the girls loved every minute of it!

Brock's 29th Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROCK!

Brock celebrated his 29th birthday on Father's Day this year! So, yeah his birthday was June 15th, I know I'm a little behind the times. We celebrated his birthday while we were in Utah for the annual Belnap Family Campout. We saw both sides of our family that day so he got lots of birthday wishes and prizes.
I got him some new running shoes and an hour massage with a massage therapist! From family he got a book, a couple shirts, flippers, tools, a beach towel and cold hard cash! Thanks for loving Brock and showering him with gifts on his last birthday in his 20's.

Bozman Hike

Brock and I decided to go for a quick hike to the "M" on the mountain near our home. It was such a pretty hike because everything is really green. The views were amazing, we live in such a beautiful place!

Yes, I was really hot with my hoodie, but I thought it might rain. (it never did)

Days in SJ

My brother Mike and his wife Nicole flew me home to Salt Lake to stay with their kids while they went to Cancun. I got to go spend some great quality time with their kids and I had so much fun!
I was really sad when it was time to go home I was having so much fun with them. I had a hard time leaving because I realized I haven't spent that much time with family since before I went to college, which by the way is 7 years ago! EEEK!
Thanks again guys for having me come.

Nate, Damion, Zac and Ambree

Cousin Lexi came over to play with Nate one day and they had lots of fun together. Lexi was kinda bossy and Nate just went with it the whole time.

Ambree made her competitive soccer team and was super pumped! I bought her these colourful flowers to congratulate her.

Finishing Touch

I went to Utah for 11 days last month and while I was gone Brock did a lot of hard work in our yard to get it ready for grass. I was so excited to come home to a lawn and bloomed tulips, it was such a nice surprise!!! Before I left, the yard looked like this.
This is what I cam home to, pretty huh!
My favorite tulip.
There are all sorts of different colors but this one is the prettiest to me. Our flower bed was a little slower to bloom because it had snow on it longer, so these were just blooming when I got home.
I love my flowers!!!!

Birthday Bash!

Kim turns 25!

Brock's Masterpiece

I celebrated my 25th Birthday on Tuesday! WOW, 25 feels really old to me and people laugh at me when I say that but that's how I feel. I had a really great birthday filled with a lot fun and some really great birthday prizes.

Brock really pampered me the whole day and even let me get away with saying "no, I can't because it's my birthday" all day long. He took me the movies, made me dinner (homemade friend chicken, mashed potatoes and he even made gravy from scratch), and baked me a stacked red Velvet cake. Pretty impressive I think. (even though he ran out of frosting....hehehe!)

He also invited a couple of our friends over to have cake and ice cream and hang out for the evening. Then he surprised me with a super nice jewelry box for all of my jewelry! What a good hubby...huh!

Kent & Tiffany

(they're moving to Missoula, so I was really glad to see them before they leave. Good luck you two, we'll miss you)!

Kirsten and baby Claire

My new toy!

Although all of this was super fun, my favorite part of my birthday was getting a new niece! I can't wait to meet her and give her hugs and kisses!!! What a doll huh! Sorry people, I have the cutest nephews and nieces out there!

Deja Vu

Here I am in Salt Lake Again! I was just here about a month ago to hang out with my family and now I'm back for a second trip.
My brother Mike and his wife Nicole flew me out (which is very sweet) to come spend some time with their kids while they go to Cancun. I came out a couple days early for my sister-in-law's baby shower and my brother Jon's 30th Birthday Bash. Fun, Fun!

While I've been here I've been able to spend a lot of time with lots of family. My mom, aunt and grandma took me out to lunch for my birthday, which is at the end of the month. It's been a long time since I've been around family to celebrate my birthday with.

The bad thing that's happened is my Grandma Williams has been in the hospital with a blood clot in her lung...very bad. I am so glad I've been here to spend time with her during her drama. Also, we got news that Grandpa Belnap is not doing well and was also in the hospital. It's really sad thing to see your grandparents lose their health.

Right now I am at my brothers chilin' with his family and enjoying the warm weather!!!

I will add pictures when I get home next week!
