My back is killing me lately at night and I hardly get any sleep. It leaves me craving for pain and sleep meds. It is the weirdest thing that has been happening over the last week but in the last several days it has gotten worse. I feel like instead of sleeping I'm spending the night trying to find a position that will alleviate the pain in my back and hips. If it's bad like this now....I worry about how I will feel near the end of my pregnancy.
I try stretching and using pillows everywhere, but nothing seems to help. It had me so frustrated last night that even if I could have gotten comfy, I was too mad to sleep. Luckily, I've been able to sleep in a bit in the morning and take naps so I'm not dragging through out the day.
Other than that annoying quirk, everything is still going well. The baby is moving more and more and that's really fun. I am getting bigger and bigger all the time. Brock keeps telling me that we are going to have a "huge" baby when he looks at me. I'm not sure if I should be offended or not by that comment?
I really can't believe we are getting closer and closer to the half way mark! Sometimes it feels like I've been pregnant longer than that and then other times it seems to be flying by.
This weekend we put up our crib and dresser in the baby's room! It was a lot of work because we had to move everything out of the office and guest room. We moved the guest bed into the office and we got rid of our desk. The office is a lot smaller than the guest room was and now it feels completely crowded with the bed, bookshelves, and file. Plus I have no idea where to put our office supplies now? So the new guest room/office/"dead room" is still under construction. However, the baby's room is set up and waiting for the rest of the pieces:)
I'm in love with this stuff!
It went together really quick and easily. There was a huge dead spider in the dresser though, yuck!
