Blakely and I flew with Brock to Omaha on his business trip and when his training was over, we headed to Iowa to see family. It was the nice little break we needed from life and it was great to get out and see Shi & Devin's new place.
Blakely did awesome on her first plane ride(s). She pretty much slept the majority of our flights and when she was awake she was happy and just flirted with the people near us. (she was even happy on our late night flight after an entire day of traveling) Everyone loved playing and talking to her, which was nice but that was part of the reason why she wouldn't sleep on our last leg of our flight:(
Anyway, at seven months this little girl is just full of energy, personality and opinions. She is going constantly...constantly! She is always moving, talking, squawking and playing. We still sometimes (most of the time) have to swaddle her to get her to calm down and sleep! Even in the middle of the night we have to go in and "tie her down" so she will relax and go to sleep. She will literally get up on her hands and knees in her sleep to try to stay awake, she is crazy! Also, she is bright eyed and cheery lately at FIVE in the morning!!! We've decided she can be awake then but we are closing her door and ours so we can get some rest, geeesh!
She has the cutest and happiest little personality! She is just as happy as pie most of the time and is just full of smiles. She has gotten really extra smiley this last month, it just melts us. She is so quick to laugh and wants our full attention. She love to "rough house" with dad and sing silly songs with mom. She is just a cute little social butterfly.
Blakely opinionated?...of course our little spitfire still has her preferences that she was born with. She is quick to tell us when something isn't the way she likes it. She is jabbering up a storm and I'm sure sometimes she is cussing us out:)
We just love her more and more each day and love to watch her learn and grow!

(Brock & I both have been bitten while trying to feel her incoming teeth)

(the other day she was in her crib throwing a fit for a long time and Brock and I went in to get her. She sat and screamed at us and then Brock helped her sit up and instantly he water works we replaced with a loud laugh. She mocks us)
Prefers standing...all of the time
Takes the Binky out of her mouth and will put in yours
Still working on the crawling thing
