June has been a P-A-R-T-Y!

BROCK'S HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Brock's Birthday this year ended up being on the Friday we traveled to Island Park for the BIG Belnap Family Reunion. He worked a half day and then we headed towards Idaho. Little did Brock know that I had a SUPER SURPRISE up my sleeve for him. I was sooo excited to surprise him that I could barely stand it! I must say that I did put on a good "poker" face....that is until we were about 10 minutes from his present. I about broke under the excitment but I was able to pull myself together for his surprise. So here's the story.....
...A couple years ago Brock caught this fish on Henry's Lake. It's the biggest trout he has ever caught and he kept it to have it mounted. The stinkin' sucker has been in our freezer ever since.....

...anyway, I decided to get the fish mounted for him for his Birthday! I contacted to lady who was going to do it and she lives right on Henry's Lake and she agreed to have it ready for his birthday so we could pick it up as we passed through. Luckily, she was passing through Bozeman in April so I met her and gave her the fish.
It was a little tricky to not give the surprise away when I asked Brock to stop by the Taxedermy shop by the lake-a stop we NEVER make. Luckily, I was quick on my toes and came up with a good cover story. We stopped and Brock still had NO idea that his fish was waiting for him.
When we got in there I told Brock to find his fish on the wall and that's when he realized what I had done! The Taxedermist did a great job and I think Brock was really happy and surprised with his gift! I felt so proud of myself for such a "tricky" present and for keeping a secret that long...GO ME!
There was a HUGE HOLE in our freezer when I moved Brock's fish out so I had to place a "mock fish" in there so he wouldn't notice it was missing. I wrapped some boxes in plastic and freezer wrap and it worked great!

Brock checking out his fish on the wall. His is the one with the BIG GREEN Birthday Bow!

To top of his Birthday the WHOLE Belnap family sang to him and we had some Jello Cake. Happy Birthday Brock! I'm so glad you were born and that you're my hubby:)

TYRELL & LACEY'S VISIT
We had so much fun spending time with family at the reunion and then the BONUS visit from Tyrell's family. It was so nice to have them in our home, they are just so much fun. I have to admit I felt pretty lonely once they left:(

PREGNANCY UPDATE
34 Weeks and "barely breathing"

It has been so nice to get out and get some fresh air lately. Camping was so fun and getting out and hiking also felt good. I have felt kind of "cooped" up since we aren't doing much these days because I'm in the homestretch to delivering. We have a few more things planned locally that will help me/us feel like we are getting out and enjoying part of the summer!
I am feeling okaaaaaay....I'm not in pain or anything like that but I am somewhat uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure that my swollen feet, ankles and calves are here to stay until the baby gets here. My clothes are HOT and TIGHT and I REFUSE to spend another dime on materninty attire with my due date around the corner! My right arm/hand has gotten much worse, in fact it is numb all the time...ugh! To make things worse my left arm is starting to go numb too, it is so annoying! However I'm not in pain so I will take it over the constant back aches any day!
Breathing has become a real challenge over the last couple weeks. The weird thing is it is mostly just tough to breath when I'm lying down for bed. I have mini "freak outs" or panic attacks because I can't breath and my heart is pounding. It makes me feel CRAZY!
I think I finally have the heartburn under control by taking Prilosec, it's been so nice! I'm tired and have seemed to have lost my "MOJO" to accomplish much. I have my energy burst until about 1:00 and then I'm done for the day. Grocery shopping these days is a REAL challenged, when I'm done I'm usually thinking "I'm not doing that again".
Baby Girl is growing like crazy and is still moving constantly. Her movements are a mix of kicks on my right side, moving her bum back and forth between my belly button and right side, and small pokes at my bladder with her arms & head. When she moves her bum my whole belly moves, it's so weird! We think she is kinda fiesty because if we poke her she'll kick back, Brock likes to tease her:)
My last check up was great, everything is still right on track and where we are suppose to be! I start going in weekly soon, which means we are getting close to the end. I can't believe that our baby will be here in a month or so, it is so weird! We are mostly ready, I still need to finish the baby room though. We are just so excited to see her:)
Hadlee was so sweet to me and my baby. She was wanting to feel her move all the time and was alway patting my belly and saying sweet things like " I hope your baby sleeps good tonight". Ah, she melts my heart! She was trying to wake the baby up in this picture so she could feel the baby move:) So precious!

Hap, Hap, Happenings

We finally had a weekend at home and the weather was nice so instead of  doing anything fun  (fishing, hiking -like I could do much of that anyway-, camping or just spending time in the canyon or by the lake) we did yard work!
We've haven't really had a chance to get everything done for the summer because either we've been gone or the weather has been rainy, so we took our opportunity. When I say "we" I mostly mean Brock. It turns out I have a really hard time bending over these days with out feeling like I am going to pass out! Brock spent the morning digging out our garden, adding fresh soil and mowed the lawn. I did plant some seeds and I went with Brock to pick out our plants and flowers. We did most of the planting together.
It basically took all day and we were both beat by the end of the day. (Brock from hours of manual labor and I was tired from carrying this body of mine around)
Anyway, I LOVE the way we garden! I love my raised beds  because there are no weeds and a perfect amount to harvest.

I've been enjoying the nice weather and the trails around our home. The dogs really love it too. Although I can't go as far as I typically do because I have to come home to use the potty.
What would a walk be with out gopher hunting for the dogs? They hear those blasted things and go crazy. They are actually really poor hunters, they haven't actually even come face to face with a gopher yet.
What would a post be with out a picture of Boog and his very weird habits? I can't get Boog out of bed in the morning and one day this is how I found him.
Brock's sister and her family came to visit last weekend on their way to Iowa. We had a super time with them and we were glad they stopped. I was horrible about taking pictures while they were here so the only one I have is this one with Brock and our niece "boating" in our drive way. She told Brock that she had "never been in a boat before" so he told her that they could go pretend to go fishing. What a sweet uncle he is!

Pregnancy Update

Everything is pretty much the same since I posted last time. I feel huge and somewhat ready for this baby to come at times. Lately I feel really uncomfortable in my own body and clothing- claustrophobic would be the best way to describe how I feel.
I've been sleeping a lot lately and I haven't been too motivated for much these days. My food cravings are pretty much gone except I do have to eat a bowl of cereal before bed and I can't get enough fresh fruit in me.
Everything is just peachy:)

Memorial Day Plus My 29th Birthday Bash!

We spent Memorial Day this year in Mayfield with family. It was the first time in 2 years or so since we've all been together in the same place at the same time. It was so good to see everyone -especially Shilo & Devin who were visiting from West Virginia.
We spent most of our time at Brock's parents place visiting and eating:) It was kind of crazy since the kids now out number the adults but they have fun together. Brock and I just laugh and watch the kid chaos around us, we're glad we don't have to deal with it.
Devin just graduated from Med School so we had a fun surprise for him. The family (including his side) went in on a gun for him as a Congratulatory prize. The men all enjoyed shooting through bullets and sampling all the pistols. Way to go Dev!

While we were in Sanpete, we decided to swing by and visit one of my favorite roommates that lives in Ephraim. Candy was also in Sanpete visiting from Colorado so she met up at Brooke's place too. It was fun to see them and their cute kiddos!
Brooke, Kim, & Candice

Happy 29th Birthday to ME! I haven't spent a Birthday with family in years so it was fun to have them sing to me and get to blow out the candles with Hadlee, Lacey &Tanner. I didn't get a picture of my cake because my phone died-bummer:(
As you may know, Brock always makes my Birthday soooo fun and this year he didn't disappoint. He surprised me with an ipad!!! I have been secretly wanting one for a LONG time but never thought we should splurge on it, especially with all the baby expenses. I felt really guilty getting it because we've been buying baby stuff like crazy but Brock said he wanted me to have something just for me! He's too sweet:) So, yes....I'm addicted to my new best pal...the ipad!

Since we were finally all together and who knows when that will happen again?....we did family pictures at the Manti Temple. I was teasing Brock's mom that we picked the ONE year that I'm FINALLY pregnant  to do pictures instead of the other NINE I've been in the family. Oh, sheesh....I will be the big pregnant lady on the wall for years & years to come! Plus our baby won't be in the picture-bummer:(

Aren't these the cutest little kids you've ever seen? There are 20 grandkids all together-ours will be number 21!!!

The hot mamas

The dashing papas

Little misses!

Brock and I decided to recreate (try) a picture we took back in 2003 when we were engaged (about a week before our wedding).  It is kinda fun to think about how much has changed and how much is the same. Also its fun  to think about our achievements, adventures, disappointments and goals from then compared to now. (not mention the changes in our figures, hair and wrinkles)
We have so many good memories in Sanpete, its fun to walk down "memory lane".
Monday afternoon we headed up 12 Mile Canyon to fish at Town Res. It was a beautiful and perfect afternoon to sit by the lake and soak up the sunshine. The men and kids threw in some lines of course and they came away with some decent fish to take home and cook. Of course we also had a campfire and S'Mores!

Hadders waiting for a bite! (soooo sweet)

Dylan was so excited to be the first to catch a fish! He was squeezing the poor fish so tight that I though it's eyeballs were going to pop out. This fish was a keeper:)

Brock with his little buddy.

S'Mores?
Our trip to Utah was a lot of fun and also a lot of traveling for us kids. We wish we could get rid of Idaho and it would A LOT shorter;) When we are in Utah with family we always say it would be nice to go back....but.....then we get 30 minutes from our home and see this.....

....would you move away from that? Yeah, we wouldn't either! This is why it would be soooo hard to leave Montana!

Pregnancy Update

Apparently traveling 12 hours make my ankles and hands swell. So by the time we got to Mayfield my feet looked like they belonged to a 400 lb woman. They would go down while I slept but in the morning they would start to swell again as soon and I was on them. Now that we are home they are fine and normal, thank goodness!
I had my doctor appointment on the 30th and we also did an ultrasound. My check up went a lot smoother this time and everything checked out great. All of my "numbers" are right where they are suppose to be...whew! The baby has indeed turned down and is right where she is suppose to be for delivery, we just hope she stays put. (although it puts more pressure on my bladder now). She is measuring at 3 pounds 14 ounces, which puts her in the 50th percentile for weight and she is weighing at exactly 31 weeks, which I am currently.
She's just as active as ever, except now my whole belly moves when she moves. I'm not going to lie it is pretty freaky and really cool at the same time!
I feel pretty good but I get frustrated that I can't do everything in a day that use to be able to do. Also, to bend over and put my legs in my pants is quite challenging, I should receive and Olympic medal for that. I'm pretty huge and I still have 2 months to go, I don't even want to think about how big I am still going to get!
The baby room is pretty close to being done. I just need to decorate and add the fun cute things. I think that will be my project for the week.
Overall things are great and we are doing well. I can't believe we are on the downhill side of this pregnancy and 7.5 year journey!

Propping my feet does nothing...it was pointless.

31 Weeks Prego!
Brock and I by the rock that he proposed to me on at the Manti Temple. We didn't take any pictures the night we got engaged so we thought we'd snap a shot
