New Year's Events

Brock and I decided to kick it easy for New Year's this year. We were both pretty spent from all the Christmas fun and decided to just order a pizza and hang out at home. New Year's Day we hit up the mountain for a day of snowboarding. It was so much fun to get out and use all of our new gear even though I ran over a huge rock that put a huge scratch on my new board. :(

December Parties

CHRISTMAS PARTIES

Just like for everyone else in the world, December is a busy and crazy month for us. We've been busy almost every weekend since Thanksgiving with parties. (Church, Work and Family Parties) We had a super fun month and an awesome New Year, here's a flashback of our month.

Wells Fargo Branch Party
We typically host Brock's WFF group to our house for dinner and a Christmas Party. We had a super time with everyone! Brock has a great group of people to work with.

It was artifical this year so it was somewhat lame...but pretty too.

Boogs with his stocking...he ran off with it and hid it from Brutus.

Our Puppies begging
(Brock is pretty proud of how long Boog can stand on 2 legs....I do it all the time, I don't see what the big deal is?)

Christmas Cheer

We've been super busy the last couple weeks with shopping and parties. The first weekend we enjoyed our ward Christmas party and my work party. This weekend we had Brock's two work parties. We spent the entire day and night of Friday in Helena with all the managers and district manager and Saturday, we hosted Brock's Branch at our house for dinner. It was super busy to say the least!

However, now we have the "calm before the storm", we have nothing until Christmas now! I think we are going to hang out a lot around home this weekend and go see a Christmas play with some friends.

Here's a couple random pics:

Brock copied an email that's been sent around and hung a "dead deer" from our drive way...I don't know how much more "redneck" you can get. I'm sure our neighbors love having us around.....good thing we're in Montana or I think we'd get egg'd.

On a happier, more normal note....we decorated Gingerbread Houses with our friends for FHE last night. It was super fun and I think our house turned out okay considering that neither of us are very artistic.
However, Brock put his lovely twist on it with a pooping reindeer.

Vote for Me

Brock entered me into an Outdoor photo contest. It's a picture of me with my BIG fish from Henry's Lake this spring. He didn't tell me about the contest until after the picture was already up and going....so I guess I just have to go with it!

If we win we will win a Camp Chef, which is a big deal for us since we camp a ton! Please go to the link below and vote for me!

Click on the link and then click on the "ready to vote" bar above the pictures, I'm #7.

Our First BIG Storm

It's been snowing since 5am this morning and hasn't stopped! There is a storm watch until 5pm, it's crazy snowy here and I love it!!! My poor little Honda couldn't make it up my driveway this afternoon- I'm going to have to shovel snow out of the way to get my car into the garage.

LOVE IT!!!

$ Computer Update $

Here's the computer update....

I sent out computer in thinking that our problem was just our power source and hoping a new power cord would fix us up but then I got the phone call......

He told us it would be about $300 to fix the problem (which was not the power source at all) and we decided to go ahead and do it because it was still cheaper than having to buy a new computer. The next day I got another call he he told me that he had given me a wrong quote and actually it would be a lot more. So we decided to not have it fixed and the repairman actually agreed and told me it basically wasn't worth saving. So, now we have to buy a new stinkin' computer, which totally irritates me because that computer was only 2 years old. ERRRR!

So I guess that will be our Christmas this year.....humbug!

OUT OF ORDER

Well, our computer is having some personal problems these days and it's been quite frustrating! I honestly can't believe how much I rely on that silly thing and the internet. I've been having to bum internet useage off of friends and work to get things done. I've even had to write checks and buy postage to mail bills....how ancient is that? Hopefully we can get it up and running and feeling good about life before Brock decides to take a shot gun to it.

Not much has been going on here these days! Mostly just work, work, work. Brock did however make a trip down the Salmon with his good friend last week. He caught a bunch of huge fish....which are now sitting in my fridge...yuck. I think it was a great break for him, he's been working really hard lately!

Anyway, hopefully our computer gets better and I can post some fun Halloween pics.

The End

BoOg AnD gAbBy'S pUpPiEs

Boog is a big Papa now!
Boog married the love of his life, Gabby, back in July and they just had their babies in September! Gabby is my brother's dog, so I guess you could say it was an "arranged marriage". However, Boog has kinda turned out to be a "dead beat dad", I told him about the pups but he didn't seem to care much-he hasn't even written! (I know I'm nerdy)
We're so excited to see the puppies!!!Gabby is a very protective mother, they have to force her to leave the puppies and go potty. She's such a sweetie!Gabby had 3 puppies all boys but one died shortly after he was born. So my niece Kaitlyn has been helping Gabby take care of her babies, Thomas and Tank. (Tank is on the left and Thomas is on the right). Aren't they sweet? Thomas looks like he'll have Boogers coloring!!!!

Hanging with our Buddies

Our friends were up vacationing in Yellowstone so they popped by to hang with us for a couple days. We were so excited to have them here, it was so fun to spend time with people we are completely comfortable with. We've know Adam and Mikelle since before we were married and lived in the same apartment complexes with them while we were going to school. They are definitely some of our best buds, so it was sooooo fun the have them here.

While they were here we took them up to Big Sky and hiked to Ousel Falls, took them to our favorite Restaurant in town, played a nostalgic game of Boom-o, and went fishing at Henry's Lake. It was a short stay and I was super sad to see them go but we are so glad they came.!

Ousel Falls

Henry's Lake

We rented a little beater boat to fish for the day. It was so windy and cold-Mikelle and I thought for sure we were going to capsize.

(Thanks for the pics Mik)

OUR GLACIER TRIP OVER LABOR DAY

Brock and I finally made our trip to Glacier over Labor Day weekend! We took off Friday after work and drove to Flathead Lake to sleep (in the bed of the truck) and drove the rest of the way Saturday morning.

We got an awesome campsite near Lake MacDonald in Glacier and Apgar Village. I've never seen such beautiful scenery, the mountains and lakes were amazing.

We stayed until Tuesday morning and we were able to get out and see a lot. We did a few hikes to lakes and waterfalls and even drove to the Canadian border for dinner one night.

The weather was pretty good for the most part, it was pretty cold the last couple days but we never got cold at night!

I decided to do a slide show rather than posting a bunch of pictures. (if you point on the pics of the slide show it will tell you details about that pic)
