FAMILY NERD PICTURES
It's tradition for my family to dress up in our finest and take a family picture and send it to our missionaries. My Nephew is in the DR serving a mission so of course we had to get a family photo taken to send to him. We certainly don't want any of his companions confused about his roots and why he is the way he is! Most importantly, we don't want him to forget about where he came from and all of us who miss him greatly.

That's awesome! Hilarious. Which mission in your nephew in in the DR? My brother is in the Santo Domingo West mission.

My brother's name is Kevin Pickett. He got to the DR the week before Thanksgiving. I will ask him if he knows your nephew. We were really scared about the earthquake too. The mission president sent an e-mail to my parents saying that all of the missionaries were fine and the church put a statement on their website too. It was a little scary there for a minute though. They are so close to where the earthquake was.
How long as your nephew been there?
